Sian started out in the world of dance and trained as a teacher, teaching ballet, jazz and tap. She then went on to work in the hospitality sector but returned to her roots to work in David Lloyd Health Clubs in London. Sian followed her love of health and fitness to Dublin to open David Lloyd Dublin in 2000, one of Ireland’s premier gyms. Working in the industry, Sian began to take Pilates classes and Reformer classes with some of the country’s leading instructors and she knew she had found her passion, getting into the best shape of her life in a way she really enjoyed. Then in 2011 (following a different kind of love!) Sian moved to the Real Capital. Working in the corporate sector, leading a very busy lifestyle, Sian looked everywhere in Cork for a Reformer Pilates class.Unable to find one, she found her own health suffering – weight gain, crippling sciatica, knee and back pain, and several visits to her physio each week! Deciding to make a change to her lifestyle led to a complete change of career – and Cork’s very first Reformer and Barre studio was born!
