This class introduces you to the Reformer machine and the Elite Pilates principles — core engagement and connection, breathing, alignment, and control.
Classes move at a slightly slower, more intentional pace, allowing time to learn the equipment, focus on correct technique, and build confidence in your movement. Fundamentals provides a full-body workout while helping you develop a strong, safe foundation on the Reformer.
This class is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone returning to Pilates or wanting to refine their technique.

What if I’ve never used a Reformer before?
That’s absolutely fine. Fundamentals is designed for beginners and no previous Pilates, yoga, or Reformer experience is required.
What if I have an injury or concern?
Please contact us before booking. Depending on your needs, we may recommend starting with a 1:1 session to ensure the safest and most appropriate support.
What if I’ve done Reformer Pilates at another studio?
You’re very welcome to join Fundamentals or another suitable class. If you’re unsure which class is right for you, we’re happy to advise.
